This blog originated after having conversations with some of the most dominant female athletes in the sport of short track speed skating. I listened to the problems they faced, many of them facing those problems alone. I realized none of these incredibly talented people are recording their experiences in a blog or telling their stories for others to learn from. It forced me to look at my journey through a different lens. I decided there needed to be a historical record of how I became a coach. You'll find some background information that you need in order to better understand the journey as well as my own personal musings.
When you come visit this blog I hope you find something that tickles your fancy. Maybe an idea begins to percolate and eventually becomes a full-blown process to improve the lives of athletes and/or coaches around the world.
Leave a comment, let me know what you think. This blog is from one mans perspective and will most likely supercharge some mixed emotions. Sometimes, emotion creates motion; so let's use it.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Enjoy your journey.
